About the website

ApplianceRepairGTA.ca provides information about appliance repair and a form for submitting appliance repair and installation requests. The website does not itself perform appliance repairs and does not employ appliance repair technicians. By using the website and submitting a request, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate, complete and truthful information when submitting a repair or installation request. This includes your name, contact details, service address, appliance information and a description of the problem. Requests submitted with incomplete or inaccurate information may not be reviewable or actionable.

How requests are handled

Service-request details you submit may be shared with one or more independent appliance repair contractors based on location, appliance type, job requirements and availability. A participating contractor who can review the request may contact you to discuss availability, diagnosis, pricing, scheduling and next steps.

Submitting a request is not a guaranteed appointment, a confirmed booking or an agreement to perform repair work. The request is reviewed before any service visit or appointment is scheduled.

Independent contractors

Participating appliance repair contractors are independent and are not employees, agents or representatives of Appliance Repair GTA. The current service offering uses certified and insured appliance repair technicians and includes parts and labour warranty coverage on completed repairs under the applicable repair terms. Any repair agreement, estimate, diagnostic terms, pricing, scheduling, parts, workmanship and specific warranty coverage is between the customer and the independent contractor who accepts the request.

Same-day availability and repair outcomes

Same-day appliance repair appointments are available for many requests, subject to technician availability, location, appliance type, diagnosis, job requirements, access and parts requirements. A submitted request does not become a confirmed same-day appointment until the timing is accepted and confirmed. Repair outcomes depend on the appliance condition and diagnosis, and warranty coverage applies according to the applicable repair terms.

Availability and geographic scope

Not every request can be accepted. Availability may depend on the city or postal code, appliance type and age, model, access conditions, job requirements, parts availability and contractor scheduling. Specialized or regulated appliance work may require a contractor with appropriate qualifications, and availability of such contractors is not guaranteed.

Pricing and repair decisions

The website does not publish fixed repair prices and does not guarantee any specific price for a diagnostic visit, repair service or parts. Any applicable visit or diagnostic terms are communicated by the contractor directly to the customer before attendance. All pricing decisions are the responsibility of the independent contractor performing the work.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to the appliance and service area; for discussing repair authorization, pricing, diagnostic terms and approval with the contractor before work proceeds; for disclosing any property-specific requirements such as condo, elevator, parking or rental restrictions; and for notifying a landlord or property manager where authorization is required before a repair is arranged.

Repair Guides and informational content

Repair Guide articles and other informational content published on the website are general educational material. They are not individualized technical diagnoses, repair instructions or guarantees of outcome. The information is intended to help customers describe the problem and understand the repair process. It is not a substitute for qualified assessment by an appliance repair technician.

If an appliance shows signs of smoke, sparking, overheating, flooding, a burning odour or any other immediate safety concern, stop using the appliance, disconnect power if it is safe to do so, and seek appropriate assistance immediately. Limitation of liability

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from the use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
