Repair Guide Editorial Standards

Repair Guides are designed to answer appliance questions clearly while separating general educational information from an actual appliance diagnosis.

Answer the question clearly

Guides should address the main question early, explain likely causes in plain language and distinguish safe observations from work that should be handled by an appliance service professional.

Authorship and technical review

Repair Guides do not publicly expose WordPress author names or bios by default. The site uses Appliance Repair GTA as the fallback Organization author in article schema. A named technical reviewer and review date appear only when a real review has taken place, and credentials, experience or qualifications are never invented.

Sources and updates

Technical or safety claims should be checked against appropriate manufacturer documentation, official guidance or other reliable primary sources where applicable. Important articles should be revisited when products, standards or service information changes.

Service scope stays separate from education

A guide may discuss appliance problems for educational or safety context, but it must not imply that Appliance Repair GTA offers gas appliance work or service outside the confirmed territory. Fridge and freezer start-relay, compressor and sealed-system topics may be covered, but actual compressor or sealed-system service must be described as diagnosis- and scope-dependent rather than guaranteed.

Original, useful media

Images should be original or properly licensed, descriptive and optimized for fast loading. Lightweight diagrams can be used when they explain a component or process more clearly than a generic stock image.

No manufactured trust signals

The website does not create fake reviews, ratings, awards, author credentials, manufacturer authorization, repair prices or warranties.
