1. Purpose of the website

Appliance Repair GTA operates as a referral and lead-generation website. It helps customers submit appliance repair and non-gas appliance installation requests for review in confirmed service areas. Appliance Repair GTA does not itself perform the physical appliance work.

2. Independent contractor relationship

A service request may be shared with an independent appliance repair contractor. The contractor is not an employee, agent, franchisee or representative of Appliance Repair GTA. The website does not supervise or control the contractor's physical work.

3. Customer and contractor agreement

Any actual service agreement is directly between you and the independent contractor. The contractor is responsible for diagnosis, repair recommendations, estimates, pricing, parts, scheduling, work authorization, payment, workmanship, warranties if offered and service-related communication.

4. No customer repair payments collected by Appliance Repair GTA

Appliance Repair GTA does not collect customer payments for appliance repair work performed by the contractor. Repair charges and payment terms are arranged directly with the contractor.

5. Referral compensation

The site operator may receive referral compensation from an independent contractor when a lead results in service. That referral arrangement does not set the contractor's price or replace the need for you and the contractor to agree directly on the service scope and terms.

6. No guaranteed match, appointment or result

Submitting a form does not guarantee that a contractor will accept the request, that an appointment will be available at a particular time, that parts will be available, that an appliance can or should be repaired, or that any particular repair outcome or warranty will apply.

7. Information you submit

You agree to provide accurate contact, appliance, address, access and safety information. Do not submit unlawful, misleading or unrelated information, and do not upload files you do not have the right to share. You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit about another person or property may lawfully be provided for the requested purpose.

8. Website information and Repair Guides

Website content is provided for general information. Repair Guides are not individualized technical advice, a diagnosis, a guarantee, a code approval or a substitute for a qualified assessment. The service scope described on the website may change when contractor capabilities or verified operating information changes.

9. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the forms, interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit spam, introduce malicious code, scrape private information or use the website for unlawful activity.

10. Intellectual property and trademarks

Unless otherwise stated, the website's original branding, copy, design and media are protected intellectual property. Manufacturer and brand names belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

11. External links

External links may be provided for convenience or reference. Third-party websites have their own terms, policies and content, and Appliance Repair GTA does not control them.

12. Privacy

Your use of the website and submission of information are also governed by the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.

13. Limitation relating to independent contractor services

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Appliance Repair GTA is not responsible for independent contractor acts, omissions, pricing, scheduling, service decisions, workmanship, warranties or repair outcomes that are outside the website operator's control. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, subject to any mandatory consumer or other legal rights that apply.

15. Changes and contact

These Terms & Conditions may be updated when the website, referral model, contractor relationships or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page. Website-related questions can be submitted through the Contact page without publishing a business email address.
